MFW
Spring/Summer 2014
This show celebrated the 30th year of the brand and paid tribute to the memory of Franco Moschino, one of the world’s most irreverent and provocative fashion designers who passed away 20 years ago in September 1994. The show was fun, striking and the brand didn’t take itself too seriously. The show included Franco Moschino’s favourite models – Pat Cleveland in a strapless dress with the Italian flag and a cow on it; Violeta Sanchez in the famous coat and hat made of teddy bears and Giselle Zelany who wore the garbage dress made of bin liners. The show then switched gear to the current designer, Rosella Jardini’s collection – the models came out two by two, one bad girl and one good girl. Then it was again back to the vintage models wearing the archive looks: Erin O’Connor and Jodie Kidd joined the rest with Diana Dondoe and Alex Wek.
